Commissioned by Annaka Hogelin, this was piece was written for Training Groove, and organization that links running with music. I was informed that the best tempo for runners to listen to while running is 180 beats per minute. In this, I wrote this piece with sort of a rushed feeling in mind, and when do I usually get this feeling most often? Traffic. LA traffic. So I wrote the piece as a way to rush through cars and traffic, attempting to make it to the next gig or rehearsal, as if I'm actually saying "Coming through!".
